Membership Benefits

As an active member of the Northwest — A Simpson Maintenance Company Preventative Maintenance Plan, the Customer is entitled to the following benefits during the active contract term:

  • Highest priority scheduling for repair appointments.
  • Annual preventative maintenance inspections as outlined in the selected plan.
  • Written maintenance reports and professional recommendations.
  • Service reminders for scheduled maintenance visits.
  • Front-of-the-line scheduling preference and preferred customer status.
  • Priority consideration for emergency service requests, subject to technician availability and safety conditions.
  • Appliance health reports and appliance life expectancy reports.
  • Maintenance history tracking and reminder notifications.
  • Seasonal maintenance reminders.
  • Refrigerator temperature audits and dryer airflow testing.
  • Annual whole-home appliance evaluation.

  • Front-of-the-line parts priority when parts are available through normal suppliers.

Gold Plan Service Scope

Gold plan coverage includes up to eight residential appliances selected by the Customer. Eligible appliances include refrigerator/freezer, washer, dryer, dishwasher, range/oven, cooktop, and microwave.

  • Maintenance coverage for up to eight listed residential appliances.
  • One annual maintenance visit during the active term.
  • Cleaning, inspection, testing, and visual condition review.
  • Refrigerator temperature audit.
  • Dryer airflow test and vent inspection.
  • Written appliance health report.
  • Appliance life expectancy report.
  • Whole-home appliance evaluation and replacement planning support.
  • Maintenance history tracking and seasonal reminders.
  • Professional recommendations for needed repairs or safety concerns.
  • 20% labor discount and 15% eligible retail parts discount.
Only appliances listed on the active membership account are included. Additional appliances may require an upgraded plan or separate written approval.
The annual maintenance visit must be scheduled and completed during the active contract term. Unused maintenance visits do not roll over to a future term unless Northwest — A Simpson Maintenance Company approves an exception in writing.

Maintenance Services May Include

Refrigerator / Freezer

  • Condenser coil and machine compartment cleaning.
  • Condenser fan and drain system inspection.
  • Door gasket inspection and temperature verification.
  • Refrigerator temperature audit, operational testing, and health report.

Dryer

  • Internal lint removal, cabinet vacuuming, and cleaning.
  • Belt, roller, airflow, and vent inspection.
  • Lubrication where applicable, operational testing, and health report.

Washer

  • Cabinet and underside cleaning.
  • Cleaning cycle treatment.
  • Suspension rod, hose, and drain system inspection.
  • Lubrication where applicable, operational testing, and health report.

Dishwasher

  • Filter cleaning.
  • Spray arm, drain, and door seal inspection.
  • Operational testing and health report.

Range / Oven / Cooktop

  • Burner, heating element, and igniter inspection where applicable.
  • Temperature verification.
  • Operational testing and health report.

Microwave

  • Visual inspection, basic operational testing, and health report where accessible and safe.
Actual maintenance performed depends on appliance type, condition, installation, accessibility, manufacturer design, and safety considerations.

Priority Service

Active plan members receive scheduling preference over non-members in the event of an appliance malfunction or breakdown.

Important: Priority scheduling does not guarantee same-day service. Service remains subject to technician availability, weather conditions, parts availability, manufacturer restrictions, safety conditions, and existing service obligations.

What This Plan Does Not Cover

This plan is for routine maintenance and membership benefits only. It does not include:

  • Diagnostic service calls.
  • Trip charges.
  • Repair labor, except applicable member discounts.
  • Replacement parts.
  • Refrigerant.
  • Sealed system repairs.
  • Electronic control board failures.
  • Repairs related to water damage.
  • Manufacturer defects.
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, pest infestation, power surges, or acts of nature.
  • Dryer vent cleaning.
  • Any repair, replacement, or service not expressly stated in this plan.
Standard dryer vent cleaning is not included in this plan. The standard charge is $150 and may be higher depending on vent length, condition, accessibility, roof access, crawlspace access, booster fans, code concerns, or unusual difficulty. Customer may request vent cleaning as an add-on service subject to inspection and written pricing.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Customer must provide safe, clear, and reasonable access to each appliance.
  • An adult 18 years or older must be present during service unless otherwise approved in writing.
  • Pets must be secured before the technician enters the property.
  • Customer must disclose known appliance issues, leaks, electrical concerns, prior repairs, pest activity, or unsafe conditions.
  • Customer must provide reasonable notice to reschedule. Missed appointments, locked-out visits, or inaccessible appliances may be treated as a used visit or may require a separate trip charge.
  • Northwest — A Simpson Maintenance Company may refuse or stop service if the work area is unsafe, unsanitary, inaccessible, or presents a risk to the technician, customer, property, or appliance.

Term, Renewal, Payment, and Cancellation

This Agreement begins on the date of acceptance and payment of the annual fee and continues for one year unless otherwise stated in writing.

This Agreement automatically renews for successive one-year renewal terms unless the Customer provides written notice of non-renewal at least thirty days before the end of the then-current term. Northwest — A Simpson Maintenance Company will send a renewal notice, including any updated pricing or terms, at least forty-five days before the renewal date.

The Customer may cancel at any time by written notice. Fees are non-refundable for any unused portion of the current term unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing by Northwest — A Simpson Maintenance Company.

If payment fails, is reversed, or becomes past due, membership benefits may be suspended until the account is brought current. Northwest — A Simpson Maintenance Company may update pricing, plan features, or terms at renewal with advance notice.

Membership discounts may not be combined with other discounts, coupons, warranty concessions, manufacturer programs, or promotional offers unless approved in writing.

No Warranty, Limitation of Liability, and Legal Terms

No warranty or insurance. This Agreement is a preventative maintenance program only. It is not a warranty, insurance policy, guarantee, home warranty, repair contract, or promise that appliances will not fail.

Limitation of liability. Preventative maintenance helps reduce risk and may extend appliance life, but no guarantee is made that appliances will not break down, leak, overheat, clog, fail, or require repairs. Northwest — A Simpson Maintenance Company shall not be liable for food spoilage, water damage, property damage, mold, loss of use, loss of income, inconvenience, or any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from appliance failure, delayed service, unavailable parts, or conditions outside the company's control.

Estimate approval. Repairs, parts, vent cleaning, diagnostic visits, and other non-covered services require separate approval and may be billed separately.

Non-transferable. This Agreement applies only to the Customer, service address, and listed appliances unless Northwest — A Simpson Maintenance Company approves a transfer in writing.

Governing law. This Agreement is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws. Any unenforceable provision shall be modified or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
